Prof Lim is a respiratory physician at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore. Concurrently, Associate Professor, Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University Singapore and Yong Loo Ling School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He is also a clinical consultant at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART).

Prof Lim is an accomplished physician and researcher in airway diseases, pulmonary infection and aspergillus lung diseases. He leads the Bronchiectasis Care Programme and Non-Tuberculous Mycobacteria (NTM) service at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Prof Lim’s research focusing on outcome prediction, medical technology innovation and novel drug discovery for respiratory diseases such as bronchiectasis and NTM infection. He is the principal lead in respiratory medicine of the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. He has a strong passion on teaching. He was also served at the ministry of health on various committees.
